Question on Traffic Court and pleaded guilty to a speeding ticket?
If the PA, does anyone know if I plead not guilty to a fine speed, how I can make a statement with the appointment instead of having to go to traffic court? Thank you all!
No, you have to show in court. On the back of the ticket not be 2 options (plead guilty or plead not guilty and request a trial). Once you check "not guilty" and send mail the ticket or a summons will be sent to the court date, it is mailed a postcard / information card that will have a phone number to call within a certain number of days to schedule a court date is something for you. Either way, they must appear in court. If no-show lose by default. You can not send in a statement that no testimony acceptable. You are requesting a trial on the grounds that not guilty and should go to court and explain "Your side", and the police have the right to explain "their side" of why he believes that reason were fined. This is how it works. A Having said that, if the ticket is only one race speeding ticket mill (as opposed to no insurance, expired tags, etc.) and has a history clean driving, then you have hit a decent picture of him or at least reduce the fine (and safe points). The simple and infringements that do not involve extreme speed violations or otherwise, is not unusual for the police officer did not even show for court date (unless you live in a jurisdiction that has an official traffic court, whose function is to represent the police on all tickets in court). Therefore, very basic ……. plead guilty and send a check or plead not guilty and go to court. Your choice. Good luck!
