Where is driving licence returned to after getting 3 points? (UK)?

Hi, I have sent my driving licence off to the police to get 3 points added to my licence for speeding. The speeding fine was sent to my current address as this is where my car is registered, however the driving licence has an old address on it. Do you reckon the licence will be returned to the wrong (old) address or the one where my car is registered? thanks in advance

Almost certainly to address on licence- it is also an offence to not notify DVLA of change of address not sure how much fine is. DVLA will not link your vehicle details to your driving licence details so I think you will be lucky to have licence sent back to correct address. Have you contacted DVLA as you may be able to amend this. You can amend details on DVLA website.
