Would speeding tickets keep you from being a police officer?

Ive been looking into law enforcement lately and was wondering if speeding tickets, a few of them, and a ticket for expired registration tags would prevent you from being a police officer? Also, how does one go about doing a ride along, just talk to the local police station?
Yea, just 3 speeding tickets, 2 warnings for speeding, and 1 ticket for expired tags. The tickets aren’t all in the same state either.

A history of bad driving will disqualify you, but if it is just a couple speeding tickets, you should be fine. They don’t expect you to be perfect.
