police speeding traps
Are police less likely to stop governent owned vehicles for traffic violations?

The road to where I work is patrolled by state police, and has a very low speed limit – 20MPH. As I was coming back from getting supplies, I noticed that I was going 30. The speed trapping officer followed me (I reduced m speed to 20) for about a quarter of a mile, and then backed off and turned around. Is there more paperwork involved in ticketing the driver of a government vehicle or did he just not feel like messing with it?

The paperwork is the same for all vehicles. He obviously got the desired effect ,( you slowed down), without stopping you. Oh and maybe he decided to cut you a break.
