suspended license, please help?
I just got in the mail today I have a suspended license and is effective from 07/06/2007. I can not get a limited number of permission or anything. I have two violations last year that were paid, but this is what resulted in my license being suspended. I live in Georgia and I have 19. Working on a points system and if you get 4 or more points in the age of 21 years, your license is suspended. My first entry was 4 points and the second was 2. My main question is: I'm suspended for 6 months or 12 months, I am confused? The statement said: The period of suspension is 6 months for a first conviction and 12 months for one or posterior second conviction for a predicate offense Are you saying that the license suspension is the first sentence or are saying that my ticket first was my first conviction and my second ticket was my second sentence? Thanks in advance for the replies and please refrain from any comments saying … I'm about to mourn, but I know it's my fault.
The two entries together are the reason for the suspension. Ticket items together amounted to 6 points. As you are under 21 gave rise to the suspension. Your license will be suspended for 6 months, unless caught driving on that suspended license, which in turn would result in an unpleasant visit in jail suspended MORE 12 months on his license. It is advisable only to comply with the suspension. Get a bike and rely heavily on friends and family for transportation. When you go to get his license re-instated, you will need a certified copy of the front and back of the ticket! You can always contact the Department of Driver Services in Conyers if you have any other questions. 678-413-8400. I hope this will clarify for you!
