Speeding Ticket Loop Hole?
I live in Ontario Canada. I have a friend who was pulled over 2 times for speeding. Both times he said he did not have his drivers license and ownership and both times the officer gave him some paper to take into the court house where they verified his details and through out the speeding ticket. He never got a fine or demerit point.
Is this a backdoor way out of getting a speeding ticket in Ontario?
No, it is a quick way to driving without a license though.
sounds like your friend is lying to you. If they run the license plate they will get the registered owners name. if he gives his name they will find out that he has a license. if he lies about his name and then goes to court he will be found out there and arrested for either forging a name on a document because whatever the cop gave your friend would have had to sign. anyways long story short….
not a credible story from your friend.
