speeding fixed penalties
My husband got a traffic ticket for speeding, tinted windows and expired license. What is the penalty for tha?

He has to go to court to show current license, and proof that he fixed the tinted windows. Of course, men are procastinators and wait until last minute. Does anybody know what could happen if he has not fix any of that. I know he won’t have time to fix any of those problems before he goes to court, but at least if somebody knows what could happen to him, we would know what to expect. I am so concern that he might get arrested.

My advice is to check with a local attorney during a consultation just for peace of mind. The expired license is the more serious offense. A reasonable defense should be explored to see if there were any mitigating circumstances that may have contributed to the expiration. Get the film stripped off , of course and replaced with the state legal limit. Check with a dealer that is a member of the IWFA see http://www.iwfa.com

He will not be arrested, but getting these items corrected will reduce the penalty particularly if there are valid reasons.

Stay calm. Hubby probably is feeling badly enough already!
