Why did it take 4 hours to sync my iPhone!!?

It’s not like I have a lot of stuff on there. I’m only using .77 gigabytes, and I didn’t sync any photos. Also, I have no videos or music on there. But the backup portion took forever. Any ideas as to why this is so ridiculously slow and how I can speed up the process?

Backups on iPhone are notorious for being slow. You can “X” out of the backup and the sync will finish in seconds. I was so annoyed and found a freeware program that disables the backup and places it on a button that I can turn off or on as needed. You can get it on the link below.
