Speeding Misdemeanor Texas
2005

Texas legal question about tickets …?
Ok, I live in Texas and just received a phone call from a collection agency received a fine in July 2002. The statue of limitations is two years for a speeding ticket, which is also a Class C misdemeanor I had my radio to a volume too high, and received a ticket for disorderly conduct. What should I do to get this issue resolved, and if someone contact me about this? May issue an order (I do not think have been given that you have not already)? Does this go against my credit if no pay? Someone please help, thanks! Everyone =)-Josh, this ticket was given to me in my home … not in my car. He was also in Travis County in Austin.
Yes, this probably goes against your record if you arn't able to take a defensive driving course of some kind. When I thought I could get an order, I just call the DPS office to request my driving record. If you can find a way to communicate with the court that issued the ticket .. ask them what they have on file. Its probably going to have to pay a fine.
