Problems Playing Youtube HD videos along with other HD videos on different websites and downloaded hd videos.?

Hi i have a pentium 4 HT 2.95ghz, 2.0gb ram, nvidia geforce 6800gt and a 7.1 soundblaster card, windows xp with all drivers installed, how come when i play hd videos my cpu speed goes to 100% and stays there, i read up about hardware acceleration but was wondering how i could enable that, when my video card came out it cost me a few hundred and was state of the art at the time, so how can i fix this issue with playing hd videos cause im really missing out on the internet atm cause i just got 20mb internet and cant play hd videos to save my life so someone in the world please be kind and let me know what im doin wrong, thanks
oh and btw i have the CCCP codec pack installed, should i use the klite codec pack instead?

You should be using the AC3 codec pack along with DIVX or VLC Media Player to play your HD movies.

Make sure you’ve got the latest nvidia driver for your card.

While we’re on the subject, that 6800 is years and years old and is not really suitable for playing HD movies. You could get a card today for under a hundred bucks that’d be 3-4 times better than that one.

Upgrade driver’s and codec pack/media player first, reboot the computer and try playing your HD stuff in VLC.
