Which would you rather deal with? Agressive speed traps or higher taxes?

I lived in Virginia for many years, and while the taxes are lower, the state police are very aggressive in raising revenue through speed traps. I moved to another state two years ago, and while the taxes are higher, the police are far less likely to go after people for speeding. Which do you prefer – higher taxes, or more aggressive speed traps?

Assuming we’re just talking a few hundred dollars, I’ll take the taxes.
