speeding ticket question (massachusetts)?
So, um, I got pulled over on the masspike (if youre not from mass – its a highway that is also called rt 90). The cop just handed me the ticket and told me I had the right to appeal it, but he never asked me to sign it or anything. Since I have appealed it, can I use that as part of my defense, or does it not really matter if he asked me to sign it?
Also, since my court date is tomorrow, what should I wear? Does it make a difference to the judge if I’m dressed up or not? And does the whole color scheme really send subliminal messages of innosence?
In Massachusetts no signature is needed, required or mandated and it does not void the citation. Business suit should be worn. It will be a magistrate hearing no judge and maybe no officer. Good luck.
