Speeding Ticket Myths Traffic Ticket

is it true that most cops don’t show up for a traffic trial after you postpone it like three times?

a few of my friends told me that if I postpone my courtdate for my speeding ticket twice or three times, the officer never shows up, either cuz he gives up on the case or some other reason, but is this really true. has anybody ever tried this, how did it go for you?
i have a court date on march 24th for a ticket that was issued July 14 07 lol thats almost a year, anywyas is this a myth or is it true?? worth giving a shot?

Its always worth giving it a shot, but you’d have to have some pretty good resons to be able to postpone it 3 times. I’ve always found that if a ticket makes it to the courtroom, the cop shows up. They probably schedule all his tickets on one day so it doesn’t waste his time, and if its his day off he gets paid extra. Always appeal your tickets, becuase lots of times they don’t make it to the courtroom, but if they do, you’re probably hooped.
