If I get two violations within 4 months, I can take traffic school after getting rid of the second?

I have a couple of infringements on a year ago (in California). I have already taken traffic school for the first, but second is still on my record. Could take traffic school more later, perhaps when the 18 months have increased, so that I can get one of my album too? is that what you mean by point reduction?
