Speeding

If I go to traffic court, "I can get traffic school?

I have a ticket for speeding in California. I want to go to traffic court to try to reduce the fine if possible, but still want the option to go to traffic school so I do not have a violation on my record. Is this possible or my appearance before the court and the conviction preclude me from attending traffic school?

It should not be any difference to the traffic school eligibility if they appear and plead guilty. Even if you have a trial judge always has the option of placing your order.
