Spent Conviction Speeding
2008

Help!! I’m scared of what my juvenile record will show! Please…help me!?
Here’s the situation: I am applying for a wonderful job that I am just absolutely thrilled about…there’s just one problem–a FBI background check is a part of the pre-employment process. Now, I was a wild child..I stole things, and had ALOT of speeding tickets–but I NEVER spent time in jail..nothing of that sort..the last conviction I had was when I was 18..for stealing clothes with a group of friends (I think my 4th misdemeanor charge…)..after that, all the craziness stopped. I am now 23, and I would hate it if my “juvy” history could possibly ruin a great opprotunity! Although, I was pulled over for a broken tail light and found out that I had TWO warrants for unpaid speeding tickets..was arrested, fingerprinted, and released within two hours..but that was almost two years ago….
Here are the questions:
Will the FBI trip off juvenile convictions?
The fact that I was arrested(unpaid tickets)..isn’t felony material, right?
Just tell me if I have a chance!! :}
Thanx!!
Don’t worry about it. They only care about felonies and you don’t have any. Nothing will come up. I know people who have had background checks with drunk driving warrants and still nothing came up. If you don’t get the job, it’s not because of a previous criminal record. Good Luck
