st. louis speeding ticket
Caught for speeding in Bond county, IL?

I work in Champaign, IL and my wife in St Louis, MO. So I drive regularly twice a week. Its a 3 hours drive and normally I drive on 75 (on cruise) on 65 in interstate highways. Today morning I did the same but was caught by cop saying I did 78. I am sure that I was on 75.
So my question is, is there a difference b/w 75 and 78, and also this is my first speeding ticket, should I plead not guilty or something.
If it really doesn’t matter whether I was on 75 or 78, is it okay that I plead guilty for 78.
Can anyone please advice.?

verify whether the limit for a major speed is 5,10,15, or other over the limit. why would you set your cruise to an illegal speed? there may be a large difference, especially on your insurance, regarding the points. (no, school does not take off the citation, just keeps the point count on the record lower;the insurance company still sees and can count it) if it’s your first, and minor, most companies don’t count it. Some forgive the first major.
