Does State Farm Insurance go up after ONE speeding ticket?
I’m almost 18 years old, and I’m on my dads insurance policy. They’ve been customers with state farm for almost 15 years.
I got a speeding ticket a few months ago, but that was the first one I”ve ever gotten. I’ve never had an accident that was my fault, and otherwise have a clean record.
Will this ticket inrease my rates?

But also, the reason I ask is because my dad had a rule that if i got a ticket i would have to not drive for a week as punishment. but i got it and paid it the same day…and ive never had anything else on my record…so most people ive talked to said they didnt think it would even show up.

I just got a ticket for speeding and he said Points are what raise the insurance but he was a rookie.
How’s my driving?!
