Do I need a lawyer to come with me to court for a speeding ticket?

I live in New Jersey and this is my second entry. The first entry was in 2005 to make a red light without stopping completely. This bill me on June 12 for speeding. I have all these letters in the mail from lawyers saying they want to represent me, you need to get a lawyer for a speeding ticket? The responses of people in Jersey would be preferable. Thanks:)

A lawyer is not a requirement but is a good idea. is true that you have to pay a lawyer, but the payment will be considerably less than the ticket and the increase in automobile insurance. A lawyer may be able to take the load down low.
