Speeding Ticket in Tennessee, North Carolina driver's license.?

I just got a speeding ticket in Johnson City, TN 26 for go over the speed limit. I was driving 81 in a 55. I was not aware of the low speed limit on Interstate and not on purpose too speed, but I did and I admit that. I was wrong for speeding and now I'm trying to figure out what steps should I take. I am a college student 17 years old, no tickets or citations before and my state is North Carolina. It has been recommended to me that I should take a driving course online and have it in court on that date. No But I also see things about defensive driving courses in TN to abandon its citation, what does this mean for me? And what consequences are that have given me since I am a resident of North Carolina, my own state? Anyone with some knowledge on this subject, advice would be helpful! Thanks in advance.

Well just to leave it at one time or returning to North Carolina. Now if you were to get into trouble again in TN, or get into trouble.
