Texas Deferred Adjudication Speeding

Speeding Ticket Question Defensive Driving Texas.?

I recently received two entries. The first was 65 to 55 in April. I asked deferred adjudication. As part of the terms was placed in a 12 months probation and ordered to take a safety course for drivers. I took the long course and mailed all in a few weeks ago I received another ticket for 85 in a 65. My question is: Does the course I took as part of deferred adjudication me impossible to take the course again, 8 months later by an outright dismissal,? Also I've been watching my speed so please no preaching. The first ticket was simply to a lack of a sign on a highway where they had a good speed trap and the second was due to a faulty speedometer (so if I can not take DSC another I'll probably try to document the repair and control that way). Thanks.

Probably. I can not imagine allowing a prosecutor to take a course you just took 8 months to close the same ticket (ie speeding). Who knows, though. You may want to ask the prosecutor / judge and see what happens.
