Speeding Ticket- Driving Safety Course (Texas)?

If you are from Texas you know the speeding tickets fine are high! Unfortunately for me I was doing 48mph in a 35mph speed zone. My questions are: If I take the course how much will the price of my ticket go down? (The ticket is $211) How much is the driving safety course? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I live in Texas and this is what it will cost you…

1. You will need to pay the court cost of $105.00 dollars..

2. You will need to send off for your driving record, $10.00 dollars..

3. You will need to take the DDC which is $25.00 dollars..

4. The total will be $140.00 dollars but by doing so the ticket will be dismissed, your insurance rates will not go up and you must stay ticket free for the next 90 days..
