Uk Speeding Offence Codes
2007

Can Policemen disobey the Highway Code? (UK)?
Remember the fuss about David Cameron going the wrong way up and one way street and jumping a red light?
Well today I saw a police vehicle DK04GHZ do a U Turn where a ‘No U Turn’ sign was clearly posted.
The driver (male) had no blue lights flashing and simply made the illegal turn and sauntered off down the carriageway.
The location of the ‘offence’ was literally 200 yards or so from a location where the very same Police force positions a speed camera as there is stretch of continuous dual carriageway which goes from 60mph limit, to 40mph and then back to 60mph.
They hang out at the end of the 40mph area! Obviously.
One rule for one………….
Is it worth me bothering reporting this to anyone?
If so, who?
Serious and comedy answers welcomed

I posted a question about a traffic car travelling at approx 110mph on the M62 near Oldham. No siren or lights. Apparantly this is legal according to all the police who replied.
Well it isn’t. This and your incident is wreckless.
Don’t complain though. The police investigate the police and find the police not guilty.
Actually do complain – it costs them several hundred pounds to investigate and you have the satisfaction of a copper with a blemish on his record.
