Speeding

I have a unpaid speeding ticket from 2 years ago?

So i got a speeding ticket 2 years ago and i sent the check for it but it was sent back to me and i sent it again which was also sent back now its been over 2 years and i havent gotten any notices or anything in the mail i think its still un paid i wood assume my liscense would be suspended does the state send you a letter or can you check somewhere? i live in illinois

call your dmv. they can tell you whether your license is suspended or not. also, many states let you pay the fines over the phone w/ a credit card
