VA Speeding Ticket: 60 in a 35. Do I need an attorney?

I received a ticket for speeding 60 in a 35 mph zone. The officer told me that he could write the ticket for reckless driving, but wrote it for speeding instead. I have to go to the Fairfax County District Court in Virginia. I planned on fighting the ticket regardless, because I do not want the points. Do I need an attorney in this situation, and if so, how much do they charge? What’s the price for a fine like this?

Wow…get a lawyer, seriously

What you pay for them vs. what you pay in fines is nothing.

You do know that if you are found guilty, it is a misdemeanor, and you have to then report that you have been found guilty of a CRIME on background checks, job applications, etc.
