Should I prepay my speeding ticket in Virginia?

I have a ticket for going 81 in a 288 65. Anything from 80 years in Virginia is the reckless driving, or that the police told me. But he was nice and said he just had to put a speeding violation. My question is, does the judge as pleasant? Or is it to see the 81 mph and enforce ridiculous rates associated with reckless driving in Virginia? I think the most Deals can be $ 1000! Do I pay in advance (which would be $ 142, according to court prepaid VA site) and cope with rising insurance costs and points my file? I've been driving for about ten years and have had two speeding tickets. I went to driving school for the last, which was in 2003. Thanks for your help! I am a resident of Virginia and I'm not interested in paying legal fees for a speeding ticket, so I'd like to avoid the involvement of a attorney.

I hope you do not live in NY, because it really sticks in the state's residents.
