speeding ticket in Virginia 60/45?
I received a speeding ticket on Friday. Was 60/45 and honestly was not doing it on purpose … When I realized that was the speed I hit the brakes to slow down, but by then it was too late .. (He checked the box on the ballot you can avoid going to court … What if I call and just pay my fine on my parents insurance go up because it was his car .. or my insurance go up? I'm using my car temporarily parents … and I'm not on your insurance .. What should I do? I do not want to go to court over this and this is my first entry on my record.
You can pay the fine, or you can go to court. In Virginia, there is a legal penalty stipulated in the Code of Speeding. It will make no difference if you pre-pay or go to court. Your insurance will notified of the infringement, their parents, as the offense is on file. The crime charged against the driver, not the vehicle. In short, the fine will be no different anyway, and you can save the hassle of going to court.
