West Virginia Speeding ticket?
I was riding a motorcycle in West Virginia, Charles Town. And a cop pulled me over because i was riding above the speed limit (49 on 25 mph).
My driver license is a Virginia State. Does anyone know if the point is transferable or not, since i’m from different state?
The cop said that i just need to pay the fine ($160) or i can come to the court to fight for it. But she said that the point is not transferable because i’m from different state. And she didn’t mentioned that it’s a reckless driving.
My concern is about getting less points out of my driving record. I don’t care about paying $160 for the fee.
So if there’s anyone know anything about similar case, please respond. Thanks in advance.
Note : West Virginia and Virginia is 2 different state.
Note : paying the fine is okay.. but the the points… hmmm … i got 2 speeding tickets last year in virginia. don’t want to get my license supended. 
that’s my concern…
Yes West Virginia and Virginia are recip states you may not recieve points but you can be suspended for non payment.Trust me 5 revokes here various reasons.WV resident
