Speeding

i got a ticket for exhibition of speed & speed contest. In wichita kansas. Can it be deferred?

i dont have a problem paying it but being a young male and this is my first offense afraid of insurance increase so can this ticket be deferred.

Exhibition of speed is one step below drag racing. In Ohio, that is not a deferrable charge, but you can check with your BMV department in Kansas to see if it is there.

One other thing you can check on is to see if Kansas allows a driving school course. If so, it may reduce the financial fine and it knocks off the points on your license, which is what runs the insurance rates up.
